I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the love, prayer and support I have had from you.
These past months have been very special. I continue to do what I love so much, and that is to teach God’s Word. These past months I have been to London, Nuneaton, Cambridge and Northern Ireland. It is such a privilege to teach the Word, but also, I am always reminded of the awesome responsibility it is to seek to rightly handle the Word of Truth. One of the most exciting things for me when I have taught on a school, is when students come and say, “I want to know God more and study His Word”.
I have recently started teaching a group from the church where I fellowship and that has been extremely fulfilling. I remember back in 1987 when I was asked what I would like to do after completing the School of Biblical Studies? My response was that I would love to equip people in churches with knowing the Scriptures. What I am doing now is a taste of that. I also tutor a young lad in our church with Greek. His desire is to go to Bible College after completing his schooling.
I continue to enjoy living in Yeovil, Somerset and renting a home with my friend Myra. It is so different to where I lived up in the Midlands. The ocean is 40 minutes away. However, I cannot get use to the beaches. Stones, not sand? Health wise, it has been a little challenging (getting older). I have struggled with a lower back problem for quite a long time. Some days it has been quite severe. Fortunately at the moment it has eased off. But, otherwise, I am good.
When my back has not been so severe, I have been enjoying pottering in our little garden at home. This is quite a big change from the huge garden and property that I used to take care of at The King’s Lodge.
I am very grateful to God in the way He is taking care of me. I also want to thank you all for partnering with me through your love, prayers and support in what God has called me to do.
May God abundantly bless you.
